Best locksmith in Elk Grove. Called many companies in the area for an old car key. Most flat out said they couldn't help me. EG Lock and Safe found the right key blank and would have ordered if needed.

I highly recommend Lock and Safe, I purchased a new old stock Nissan key for my Skyline at a out of state Nissan Dealership a while back. The dealership cut the key and the key wouldn't work with my car because the key i had was so worn down, they wernt able to get a good cut that matched and would work with the car.The dealership refunded me and gave me a new blank key and told me to go to a actual lock smith. I took the key to Lock and Safe and they were able to cut the key for me and even double checked with a practice key to guarantee a cut that would work with my car. Elk Grove Lock & Safe has been around for as long as I can remember! They were the first place to come to mind when I needed a new flip key for my Acura cut and programmed. It was $20 for the cut and $50 for the programming. We initially had some trouble when the software tried skipping a step in the programming procedure, but Nicole worked around it and both keys work now! I am very happy with their services and highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to have keys cut and programmed for their cars. You don't HAVE to go through the dealership! They saved me money and they're a local business who know their stuff.
